For this reason, the Algerian legislator has sought to establish and reaffirm this principle in all national legislations enacted as well as in the international agreements concluded. This principle is linked to the concept of economic freedom or the freedom of commercial and industrial activity. Such freedom is necessary to preserve the public interest and public order. However, in an effort to protect the national economy, the legislator has subjected this principle to legal regulations in order to maintain a balance between the interests of investors and the assurance of national economic growth. Among the most significant of these regulations are those related to investment activities, particularly regarding the freedom to carry them out.
