Abstract: This article explores the trajectory of public administration reform in Algeria, shifting from its traditional bureaucratic model toward the adoption of post-bureaucratic approaches. It begins by presenting public administration within the Algerian legal framework and outlining the characteristics of the Weberian bureaucratic model, highlighting its distinctive features while shedding light on the constraints that limit its effectiveness and make reform imperative. It then examines the conceptual foundations of post-bureaucratic approaches by defining them and identifying the factors that led to their emergence, in addition to their key characteristics based on flexibility, results-oriented management, and citizen interaction, along with a review of the main theories associated with these approaches. Finally, the article discusses the design of an interactive network-based administrative model in Algeria by defining its concept and foundations, as well as the requirements for its implementation and the obstacles that may hinder the transition toward it. It concludes by exploring the prospects of its realization as a strategic option for achieving a more efficient, transparent, and interactive public administration.
