1 أبحاثThe legal Principles of Airspace Sovereignty in International Law
Abstract: In aeronautics field, sovereignty corresponds to the powers and authorities granted to the State to exercise its legislative, administrative and judicial powers. The airspace above territories obeys to the strict rules of sovereignty and is part of a framework of international cooperation. It has been structured around the territory of each State and is therefore inseparable from its the sovereignty. However, its use includes forms of cooperation between States to ensure a form of collective security. The implementation of airspace regulations is established by each State and guarantees global air security. The air sovereignty is a fundamental right of a sovereign State to regulate the use of its airspace and to apply its own law to civil aircraft crossing its national space.
