وبناءً على ذلك، أوصت الدراسة بضرورة إلزام المجتمع الدولي للاحتلال بوقف سياساته المعيقة للتنمية، والعمل على دعم الجهود الرامية إلى تمكين الشعب الفلسطيني من تحقيق تنمية مستدامة داخل دولة فلسطينية مستقلة كاملة السيادة. is study aimed to analyze the reality of comprehensive development in Palestine and to identify the most prominent political and economic challenges hindering its progress. This was achieved by examining the dimensions and manifestations of development and the role of Palestinian citizens in supporting it. The study also addressed the impact of Israeli occupation policies on the development process, reviewed the requirements and elements necessary for achieving the principles of sustainable development in the Palestinian territories, and discussed future prospects and ways to enhance them. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach to understand and interpret the development problem, ultimately leading to practical recommendations that contribute to mitigating challenges and enhancing development opportunities. The results showed that the Israeli occupation constitutes the primary factor exacerbating developmental obstacles at various levels. Accordingly, the study recommended that the international community compel the occupation to cease its policies that impede development and to support efforts aimed at enabling the Palestinian people to achieve sustainable development within a fully sovereign and independent Palestinian state.
